Mit dem Quad Gate 1074 stellt dbx ein neues High-End-Gate für Studio- und Live-Anwendungen vor. Das 1074 bietet vier unabhängige Gate-Kanäle mit separaten Steuersignal-Filtern sowie Threshold, Depth, Release-Reglern und Side-Chain-Inserts.
Die Stereo-Verkoppelung zwischen jeweils zwei Kanälen ist möglich. Die Pegelsteuerung arbeitet mit echter Effektivwert-Detektion. Das Quad Gate verfügt über symmetrierte Ein- und Ausgänge mit XLR- und Klinken-Buchsen. Jeder Kanal ist auf + 4 dBu oder - 10 dBv schaltbar.
